When it comes to extreme sports, the top performing countries feature some of the most popular sports which have been rated from four to five stars on TripAdvisor.

Based on our research, we found that water sports are an incredibly popular activity with both Malta and Slovenia ranking highly. Malta offers a wide variety of water sports which includes parasailing, flyboarding, windsurfing, wakeboarding, and jet skiing. Whereas in Slovenia, you can find white water rafting, kayaking, and caving.

Another highly rated sport is airborne sports, with Slovenia and Croatia ranking highest. Both countries offer the excitement of ziplining, and Croatia adds the unique rush that can only be found in free falling.
