The new ŠKODA FABIA has continued where its predecessor left of by claiming its first piece of car industry silverware. The all-new Czech supermini claimed the All The Car You Need category in the annual Top Gear magazine awards. Despite not arriving into the UK until March 2022, the Top Gear judging panel were impressed by the FABIA’s practicality, quality and refined driving experience.
While the 2021 Top Gear Award is the first for the new FABIA, its predecessor has been no stranger to the winners’ circle. Introduced in 2015, it won more than 15 major titles since its introduction six years ago, including What Car? Car of the Year.
The new FABIA, which arrives in retailers this month is the first to be based on Volkswagen Group’s modular MQB-A0 platform and is priced from £15,305 OTR. Building on the strength of its predecessors, the new FABIA is the most spacious car within its segment and delivers a range of new comfort features in addition to a plethora of new safety and assistance systems.
