ŠKODA SUPERB picks up two accolades at annual awards
Milton Keynes 08 January 2021 - ŠKODA’s flagship SUPERB continues to impress automotive industry experts as the multi award-winning model won over judges at this year’s Carwow Car of the Year awards, scooping gongs for Best Large Hybrid Car and Best Estate Car.
The Carwow Car of the Year awards recognise the best new cars on sale in the UK. Commenting on the Best Large Hybrid Car win, Carwow’s Mat Watson said: “The ŠKODA SUPERB iV combines all the space of the standard SUPERB with the benefits of a plug-in hybrid. It emits just 30g/km of CO2 and return a claimed 149 miles per gallon.”
The SUPERB Estate continues to set the benchmark in its segment boasting a cavernous 660 litre boot capacity that extends to 1,950 litres with the rear seats folded down. Mat Watson, commented: “The ŠKODA SUPERB Estate has an absolutely massive boot, packed with clever features. And that's the whole point of an estate car, isn't it? The 2.0-litre diesel engine is strong, smooth, and economical, there’s loads of standard kit and it feels really well built. It's a brilliant all-rounder.”
